What our staff say about us

S4C Logo

I really feel valued by my managers as well as the Managing Director’s and I just love being a part of such a close, friendly and warming team who I class as my work family. I just couldn’t be anymore happier at work and I feel well and truely blessed to be a part of the Solutions 4 Care organisation.

Jody, Community Care Worker

I applied to Solutions 4 Care for a position of Community Care Worker in February 2019 having been recommended by a current employee at their organisation. I filled in a job application form and sent it in not expecting to have a chance as I was applying with no formal care experience other than caring for a loved one within my family.

I got called for a formal interview and it all started from there! I was interviewed by a panel of two managers within the company and was successful in having a position offered to me. Whilst all my pre-employment checks including a DBS check was being sorted it gave me a great opportunity to get to read the companies policies and procedures etc. I completed a full induction program including lots of training, one-to-one meetings with my line manager and also lots of “on the job” mentoring within service users homes with the Care Manager Louise. At the point of 3-4 weeks of shadowing I realised I had absolutely done the right thing to give care work a go... I just love the job!!! I feel totally valued by the organisation, the service users, their families as well as external professionals to the company such as district nurses, therapists and GP’s. I just feel so satisfied when I know the smallest of tasks makes a massive difference to the people I’m caring for. After induction when I was working independently within service users homes I have had on-going unannounced visits from my line manager who was carrying out quality assurance checks to ensure I was completing all my tasks effectively and to ensure the service users were happy with my input. At the time this was nerve racking however having had positive feedback from these visits it was so refreshing to hear I was doing ok. I’ve received regular supervision with my line manager which again has allowed me to feel valued, gain reassurance and boost my confidence to progress in my role. I feel so privileged to have the opportunity to complete the care certificate training and an NVQ level 2 in Care qualification fully funded by the organisation which again has made me feel valued. I have attended staff meetings and training sessions which has also strengthened my confidence.

What our clients say about us

Client Testimonial

Thank you to all my wonderful care team, the office based staff and management at Solution 4 Care Limited for all they do for me each day to make my life as bright, happy and meaningful as possible – I would recommend them to anybody, even my community based physio & GP have highlighted that I am in good hands!!

Joan (Aged 74), Walsall

I have received care with this wonderful company solutions 4 Care since May 2017. I have X4 visits per day in the morning, at lunchtime, tea time and bedtime everyday of the week. All the carers are fantastic and I class them as my extended family, they are angels - heaven sent! I first met Rob the Registered Manager at Solutions 4 Care on the hospital Ward where he came to assess me and my needs following a severe stroke. My daughter, son and daughter-in-law along with the medical staff and hospital based physio and occupational therapy staff were all present, Rob chaired the meeting and then carried out an assessment of my need(s), choice in care and preferences to ensure my needs were going to be met at home once I left the hospital. This was a very scary and upsetting time for myself and my family and all I can remember thinking was... this is never going to work and I am going to end up in a nursing home environment. Right from the on-set Rob reassured me that he had every possible tool in his box to make it work for me at home to ensure my care and safety needs would be met and me, along with my family would be happy in the care of his organisation.

Within 2 weeks of being home from hospital Rob’s words spoken to me on the hospital ward came to prove themselves totally right as I feel so safe and well cared for in the hands of all the Solutions 4 Care staff that visit me, even the people at the end of the telephone in the office.

Having the carers visit me and allowing my family to see that I am well cared for, safe and all my needs are met it has allowed my family to go away on holiday for two weeks knowing that I am well looked after and feel safe in their care.

There have been several times whilst Solutions 4 Care have been looking after me that they have spotted issues/concerns etc with my general health and they have acted fast, speaking to my GP and district nurses on my behalf and got me all the support and attention needed to ensure I’m monitored and supported – The last place I want to be is back in hospital and all the staff do everything they can to try and prevent this, they will know when I really need hospital attention and I’ve got everything crossed that this never happens again. Management & office staff have changed schedules of care visits about for me & their other clients to enable me to attend hospital appointments as and when required.

All staff respect my religion & cultural needs, they will even reflect this in my dietary requirements, choices & preferences – I have even got the white staff cooking Caribbean style, we all love it, the staff too!!! When the vicar from my church comes to my home to give me communion my care schedule has been changef around at my request to ensure I’m ready for the Vicar to visit.

What our partner agencies say about us

Partner Agencies

When I leave a patient in the care of Solutions 4 Care staff I’m always confident that they are going to be sufficiently monitored and cared for after I leave their house.

Lauren, District Nurse

I have made several visits to a variety of patients that the Solutions 4 Care Staff team care for from a social care respect. Being a registered nurse I obviously visit to deliver nursing care treatments/intervention(s).

All of the staff team at Solutions 4 Care Limited I have met have been very polite and have supported me & my patient within my visit to them. They are very “tuned in” and have the basic knowledge to support and advise patients and their families in their care. Recently I got called out to a blocked catheter which the carer had detected, the carer was able to offer sound advice to the patient and their carer as well as giving me an in-depth handover to enable me to give the best possible care to my patient. There were adequate notes in the carers documentation within the patients home to enable me to gain an update of their findings, their action(s) taken and the advice etc given to the patient and their family.

The carers are always professional and have the patients best interests at heart, it’s evident they wear their hearts on their sleeve’s. If a family member or a loved one close to me were ever in need of care it would be Solutions 4 Care Limited I turned to as I know the care would be to an excellent standard & personal to the individual.
